to transfer case or not...
hey guys.
I'm thinking on either trade my truck for a similar model, year, transmission but a 4x4 or resource all the related parts and convert my truck into a 4WD. of course the first question is to know who has a 2005-2007 dodge ram 2500 with a 5.9l, a 6 speed manual transmission, 4WD, with around 70-75K miles who might be interested in some kind of trade for a 2WD in similar conditions...
Other than that I would think this question has come up on this forum before. The questionaire is simple, the transfer case, is this the same for a auto and manual? I mean the bolt pattern and shaft spline?? I think they are but need to confirm before diving into buying a donor vehicle for this.
I do know that there is a lot of work involved. But I would be motivated to turn my truck into 4wd since I have not abused or modified it in any way.
so to wrap it up, * is there anybody with a 4wd manual for sale?
* transfer case bolt pattern and shaft spline info? what range of year share the same bolt pattern and shaft spline?

You'd be better off posting this in the 3rd gen section. This is the 4th gen, 2010 year model, section.
