Just got back from Florida, 2400 miles towing 16ft enclosed bike trailer 4 bikes full dresser, soft tail, heritage softail, and a bobber. Stock truck 8.5 mpg when my buddy drove and 9.5 when I did. 6,000 miles on truck. Gets anywhere from 11 to 15 when doing the back and forth to work and lake stuff, no rhyme or reason why it varys so much try to do the same thing all the time. I'm pretty disgusted with this truck.

I agree with no ryme or reason. I pulled 17.8 on a trip empty, well canopy and a some things in the bed (beer) And 14.5 on the same with the same. But the bottome line is this truck will pull the hell out of my Duramax even with the Banks stuff and head gaskets and .....and.... This truck handles a load better and steers better with a load. Better in the snow/ off road. The chev is a great truck empty on the road, ( like the El Camino) The allison trans downshifts better.......Hm wonder why So I just buy fuel and enjoy my truck
