Had this code a couple of times towing our fiver from Oregon to New Mexico. When it happens, I have no trailer brakes, which is kinda concerning when pulling 14k down the road. Not that the IBC had ever been that aggressive when stopping, but still... at least there was a little bit of braking there. We're perched for three months now in New Mexico but I'd like to get the issue resolved before I hitch up again.

Any idea what causes the P56 code, and more importantly, what to do about it?
