Help With Egr

I have a 2007 ram with a 6.7 ctd that I disconnected the egr on it and got
much better mpg. I have a 2010 on order that I would like to do the same thing on. Can somebody tell me if I can do the same thing to it(disconnect the
egr)? If yes does it look the same under the hood? Thanks in advance for your help.

Under hood is the same, but there may be ECM differences. Id be willing to bet that you could run just fine, albeit not code free.

If you do unplug and it doesn't work out, just plug it back in and bring it to the dealer. When questioned about an EGR just play dumb.

There is an extra sensor installed in the EGR feed tube that may now cause more problems than the original version did like in my 08.

I saw that extra sensor when I was poking around under the hood of Rog's '10. Im sure it will be bypassable though. With a programmer at least.

Like you said, may cause issues with those that just want to do a simple unplug.
