G56 boot torn
So, in my "new to me 2011 CTD" I was replacing the G56 transmission fluid. As I took apart the gear shifter and got it down to the orange boot, I notice it has been cut. The good news, it looks like maintenance was done on this truck and the previous owner changed this fluid at some point (no maintenance history) but, is this cut on the boot an issue?
Side note, if you are still running ATF+4 in your G56, think about changing. It is night and day difference running the Mobil 112812 transmission fluid
