Deleting egr

Hey guys, just want to start out by saying I've been reading a lot of yalls comments back and forth to eachother about ur trucks with issues and what y'all have done to correct them! I'm new at this so guess we will just see how it goes!! I just recently bought a 2012 2500 4x4 6.7. Absolutely love the truck! Traded my wife's rt charger in for it.Trucks got right at a 100,000 miles on it and had the exhaust delete and smarty tuner with it! 1 owner, older man and looks like he really took care of it! My question is the egr delete was only 2 plugs under the hood unplugged. I really don't want to put the egr delete kit on because I live in Texas and emission test is serious down here in a way! Pretty sure I can get by with what I have so my question is what exactly do I have to do to completely delete the egr without replacing with a kit??
