Hello, my 2011 fully deleted at 22,000 km is starting to have exhaust brake stick on now , I've always been running exhaust from day one, 315,000 km now on truck, I'm a long ways from home, is it time for new turbo or just replace actualator, thanks Paul

I have had the same problem a couple of times last year then once this year, I get the code for no boost pressure, if I'm not mistaken I don't think the actuator is replaceable once the actuator burns out and it's a complete turbo replacement but the turbo can be cleaned.

Thanks busyboy, I've had to restart it few times now but I'm have way home and it runs ok without exhaust brake, I'm kind of an old timer type to run till it dies, so I'll see how long it lasts. PDR. Sells remand for under two with warranty, so l will go that way, thanks for replying. Paul

Friend of mine is dealing with the same thing but with a P226C code. Everything I've read says turbo replacement. His exhaust brake is inop and it wont build more than 6psi boost.

I move my truck in and out of the shop almost every day, It's only about 30 feet each way and I wasn't using the exhaust brake during that time. Since the last time it happened I've been engaging the exhaust brake every time and so far so good, I guess you can't let the carbon clog the variable vanes and the software I'm using commands the vanes more to the closed position than the factory software so I imagine that makes it worse.

well I had to replace turbo,exhaust brake kept sticking once I had to start it about six times before it did;nt stick.Went brand new from dodge dealer,reman's have used actuators on them, I wanted all new,nice to be able to use my exhaust brake again.

You can try having turbo cleaned first then retest if cleaning was successful, before you clear code. If you clear code before testing the cleaning will not run.
