Camper pull test day!

Got the hitch and all put in the bed so I had to take advantage of the good weather to take it for a test run. Truck pulls great, no problems with the brake controller, however I wish it had the boost that my Prodigy had. Other than that I'm very pleased with the results.

NIce ride! I should have gone with a Dually. I'm heading down to Texas in less than two weeks. I've done two smaller trips so far with the new Trailer/Truck. My o4.5 alway had a rough time pulling a similar trailer. This truck was no problem. But also excited about trying out my new Demco Glide ride king pin. I didn't like my Trailair Rota fex. I had great results with my old camper and the Glide ride. Happy Camping

It MAY be an optical effect from your camera lense, but I looks like the trailer is high in the front. This can cause excess loading in the rear axle, which will show up as heated spindles, bearing and lower tire life. You want it as level as possible or just a inch or two of rise in front. Your bed rail to trailer looks perfect. Is your pin box height adjustable?

Good looking combo my friend. That LWB will tow like a champ. Nice!

The parking lot is not as level as it looks. On level ground the truck and trailer are perfect, well the back of the truck still sits alittle high, but once the trailer is loaded for a trip that won't be an issue either.

BTW- taken on my cell phone camera. Stupid me left the good one at home, never fails!

Thanks all!!

We have the same trailer..We got it last spring then got the new truck to pull it..The new truck pulls it a lot better then the old one ever thought about it with the same fuel mileage...

This is one of the best Bunk House floor plans on the market.

The kids love it and my wife and love the room the rear master bedroom has.

We totally agree..Can't wait to get the trailer out and do some more camping. I also put a hitch on the back so I can pull my atv trailer..Kind of long but we can do what we want that way...

ok, I am new to the 6.7 world, but had a 2003 5.9, that I loved, no problems ever with the truck, pulled 32' travel trailer around the world with it, NO problems. I had cold air intake, edge with attitude controller, Dynomax 4" exhaust. So you aks why did I get rid of it?? A friend offered me almost what I paid for it fours years and 90,000 miles later, so I bought a GMC, wow what a let down. Anyway I am back with a 2011 6.7, love the truck, but dying to mess with it. Looks like there is a little more to this than with the 5.9. Anybody got a tried and true brand to get egr, dtr, bypassed with a hassel of some kind. Anybody know of any problems with government about bypassing? thanks for any input.
