yeah to what rich said.. also I probably only have about 600 miles on the truck that is actual highway driving of trips 50 miles or more in length and there was a 10K FT pass involved in them as well so I would not be a good model for truck millage..

I have spent a lot of off road time in low range and I am impressed with the power and hold back going off big hills with heavy trailers.. However the duallies do suck in the mud and I have on occasion left a loaded trailer at the bottom of a very BIG hill until the road dried out..

colorado do you of any one that has traded out the duelies for the new single wide tires? would that be an improvement? i have seen 18 wheelers with them

Rich there is someone on this site has posted a pic of just that, if I can find the thread I'll bump it up. That would be a viable alternative.

I doubt you'd find super single wheels to fit a 4500/5500 .
