I think this is the correct place to post this.
There is a possible project in the wings and I offered to find out what might be needed.
The project will be a 2012 or 2013 4500 C&C MEGA CAB.
What we need to figure out is if it would be easier to start with a reg cab or a crew cab.
So far I think the crew would be the way to go but we need to confirm that the rear doors are the same on a crew as a mega.
Next would be to determine which floor pan and roof panel would work and also the rear clip for the cab.
Wheelbase of the C&C would be critical as well.

The goal is to have front and rear seating identical with the extra space the mega cab offers for more recline and storage.

Determining the part numbers of the panels and the mounting positions are first.

Any input is appreciated. This project could become a reality if the alterations are going to be mostly factory panels and parts to complete it.

Perhaps it might be possible to find the part number for just the basic cab sheet metal then transfer everything over.

Thats what we will try and do. I have a friend over here at SGI that might be able to get me some part numbers.

My buddy's that are looking at doing this figured they would give me something to do while I get rebuilt. The conversation about seats lead to the idea of four SRT-8 Jeep seats.

The doors on a mega cab I believe are longer. As is the entire cab. You'd have to cut and stretch the shorter cab, or swap in a mega cab in its place.
