Just wanted to be the first to post that the new 4500 and 5500 are bad to the bone.

Have you seen the new pic of the Ram 5500 in diesel power page 232...

" take a 10-lug, Class 5, regular cab, 6.7l cummins ram, stretch the bed out to 10 feet, and you get a Dodge that's "bft'(built for towing of course)."

Looks killer!!!

No Opie was a little behing on the shafts... They just came in today I believe... Should have it next week.....


I love that truck ....Not so much the tips but boy that thing is peeeeeerty!!!!

the bft isnt a 5500. It is built on a 3500 frame with a 5500 body

It's a good thing it's got 22.5" duals to haul that chopper.
Sometimes I think a 10' bed would be handy but I'd never drive a useless reg. cab to get it. As for the "Built For Towing" tag, how high does this truck sit? Could you even get under a GN or 5er? If you can't it might aswell stand for "Built Ford Tough"
