XD Diesel

I have been looking at getting a set of XD Diesel wheels. I have heard the 17x9 wont fit on my truck. Can anybody confirm or deny this for me? And if its true, does anyone know of a wheel with a similiar look that will fit? Maybe I just need to step up to 18's.

I dont know why they wouldnt...however you cannot fit 16" wheels on the 3rd gen trucks. because of the brake size. I would go with 18's though they will look better...IMHO

Not a rumour, it's true. Helo 17's won't fit either, me and the wheel shop found that out one day. If you are needing tires I would just bump up to 18's (wish I had done this, but I had 2 month old Pro Comp tires at the time), there is a much better selection of tires with the 18's.

I don't know if you were thinking of the black version of the XD, but if you bump up to an 18", consider Ballistic Hostels from Discount Tires. I forget offhand what backspacing and offset options they have, but they fit without any rubbing anywhere, and I have Toyo 35's on my truck. And they don't stick way out either.

Stock rims are 17inches. It is the back spacing that made them not fit probly becasue they are too wide.

Thanks for the answers. I guess I will have to bump up to 18's and do tires too.

I have 17" KMC Hoss that fit with no issues. The tires sick out a little but not too much, maybe an inch with 35's.

Only picture I have.

I have looked at the Hoss a couple times. I like them alot, but with the rest of my truck being black, I am worried that it will be too much black. I want something mostly black with some machined or stainless outer.
