How did you find out it was wore out ?? I have noticed the front end of my truck wondering back and forth a lot and it use to never do that, but every time I take it to the dealer, they tell me there is nothing wrong. They also told me that with my u-joints until they finally fell apart. I am trying to find out where I can go to get proof that the front end components are starting to wear out.

i drive the colorado mountains on my way home every night

i must say that living at 8500 feet is the way to go

anyway i noticed it when i put the new tires on (285 75 17 rugged trails)

as i would take a mountain curve the front end shaking and i could feel it in the steering wheel, i took the truck back to the tire dealer for rebalancing etc.

that didn't help, i took it the dealer and made him find it. it helps that i have a service advisor whom i at least believe is working in my best interest

i had to cancel my appointment a time or two and when i finally got time to take it in i was pushing 36k pretty hard. he told me he would fix it for warranty even if he had to fudge my mileage for me

totally different truck driving home last night, felt like it did new
