Wiper fluid doesn't work when truck warmed up?

Did a search, but found little.

Just noticed the problem on my 03 2500. Lately, its been in the teens or low 20s for temps. When I start the car, I get good wiper fluid pressure, if I try again later, pressure drops, wait again, and NOTHING comes out.

Any ideas on this? Fluid reservoir is > 1/2 full, and the engine is still warm. I noticed when running into the store (when I had no pressure) that when I came out, it was back again....until I got rolling a few miles.

Thanks,
josh

I would start by checking for a restriction or kink in the line. Maybe as the rubber hose warms, it might kink more easily. Strange one.

I would say the alcohol in the fluid is weak or incorrect fluid for freezing temperatures. Thats why it works o.k. when not moving but once you are moving the air flow around the reservoir on the drivers side causes the fluid to ice up, then when stopped it reliquifies.

I ran it all empty, and then replaced it all. Guess that must've been it. (knock on wood)
