blinker on my truck doesn't work right

It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't . If I try to turn left the right blinker turns on and if I try to use my left blinker my right turns on. Could it be a loose connection ? I haven't removed anything off the steering column at all.

That's crazy!

If you haven't had any incidents that would lead you to believe anything should have changed I'd bet the multi function switch is going out. Its the turn signal lever's factory name!

My blinkers stopped all together, but my hazzards worked. I guess dodge has them on seperate circuits. The Blinker 'flasher' relay in 2nd gen dodges is a dealer only part. I think I gave $40+ for it. It's the blue 'relay' in the dash fuse compartment.

Could be your multi function switch too. I've had to replace that also.

Good luck.
