Gottcha i was thinking of the fender well flares and couldn't figure out how they could have helped. i have these fender flares (bug sheilds) on my 01's . Never gave them credit for cutting down wind noise but maybe they are.
will order a set and see if it helps the 03
Thanks

I've had the "eyebrows" from day 1. They make no difference as far as I can see, as my truck has air leaks with them. After driving my truck for 2 years, I really don't even notice it or think about it anymore, but when I traded in the Chevy, it was one of the first things I noticed, and I thought something must have been wrong with my own truck. (It's just the way they are.)

I've had wind noise with my '99, '01 and '03. I took the '01 in and they did some adjustments that helped but didn't remove the noise. This is one of my biggest complaints with Dodge.

I just had the latest door seals (inner and outer) installed and it really helped the wind noise. Now it is really noticeable.

No cost, under warranty. Doors seals had ripped with previous 2 designs. New ones look like they will be okay. Also new lower door splash seals were replaced also and are formed different and longer.

It's really surprising to hear all of this, because my 04 is one of the quietest, tightest trucks I've ever been in. And this includes a 99 and a 2000 silverado. They were both extended cabs, and the 2000 was so bad in any crosswind that it was embarassing. I took it in to get it adjusted a couple of times and it never got any better. That coupled with that knocking pos 6.0 gas engine are the reasons I am no longer a bowtie guy.

Don't get me wrong- I had a lot of mechanical, mileage,......complaints about Chevys I owned, especially '70's and 80's models. (I'm just talking about compared to my '02 GMC.)

They would have to pry my dead, cold fingers off of the steering wheel first!
