Wind Noise
Wind Noise
whats the fix for air leaks around the drivers door? Door seal looks like new --i can get rid of a lot of it by shutting off the fan but in a bit of a crosswind it's bad
That was one of the first things I noticed about my truck. They can do some slight adjustments, but I have been in others and they are the same. I hate to say it, but my 02 chevy was sealed tight as a drum. Unfortunately you just have to get used to it, especially in a cross wind.
pretty much they will adjust the doors alittle bit, up down back or forward. If that doesnt fix it then they will actually bend the door a bit. The body guy told me not to have them do that because it will only flex back. So I deal with the noise. Not much else to do. But since the adjustment it has been quieter
The worse is when it is -40 out side and that cross wind comes blowing in.

that is one of the most annoying and stupid features of the "new dodge"
some engineer should have definately lost their job over that one
the doors are like big air scoops
it sucks! period
yah I love my new dodge, after adding a half inch of weather stripping from my local Ace hardware and duct taping off the leading edge of the doors
some engineer should have definately lost their job over that one

Just bought an 03 gasser actually, and i thought the wind noise was really loud.
65 on the highway i had to turn the radio up because it was loud.
Usually its just a door pin being worn out, but this thing has no replaceable pins, you have to buy the entire hinge from dodge for 85 dollars... ***
luckily my 04.5 diesel is still silent :/
