Will they swap?
I just got me an 07 that came with just the single disc radio and Im wanting to swap it out for the 6 disc mp3 radio. Doy you guys know if it will just swap out no problem as far as the plug in goes? I ain't sure because I know that alot(if not all) of the 6 disc mp3 radios are in the trucks with infinity speakers and steering wheel controls. Has anybody done this? I want it mainly for the more detailed readout.

Yes they will swap perfectly. I did the same thing within a week of getting the new truck. $130 on Ebay and works perfectly. I also wanted the RDS for the Sirius tuner. I like being able to see what is playing. I also like the mp3 part. I had a DVD mp3 player in my last truck and it just got to be too much.
I just ordered two back to back harnesses so that I can add an aftermarket amplifier and subs and possibly installing the factory uconnect system without cutting into the stock harness.

I have the standard single cd radio just like you had i believe. Did you have to install a amp or is the radio just plug and play.

No amp. just plug and play. Remove the old unit. Replace with new unit. enjoy 6 disc mp3. Sirius works better because you get to see the more info instead of just the channel number. The sirius tuner is a seperate module that you don't even have to think about and it will work with any of the newer factory radios. It just won't work with the aftermarket radios.
Search for "dodge mp3" or "raq" or "rak" or anything like that.
