Will someone explain the meaning
of "DEFUEL" like a mod that defuels during shifting ? I've seen it many times ,but have no idea what it means.I know some smart edited by admin is gonna bust me on this.I appreciate real answers,thanx

Defuel means the program actually starts to cut back the fuel delivered by the pump to the engine for "safety" reasons. This is the "dummy down" that DMC has built into the Cummins we buy in the Dodge truck, or we could hurt ourselves. We buy the dummy downed version, then spend the rest of our time trying to get the most power we can out of an engine that can deliver with very few mods.

Makes perfect sense!!!
For example... On my Edge Juice with Attitude, when my EGT's hit a certain temp, or my TC starts to slip, the Edge will defuel so that you don't fry what little you got all at once.

Its just that lately there have been questions ask by new guys and they got smart replys intended to make them feel stupid.Funny the mods never call that type thing down.
