my truck ?? I found a hell of a deal on a used snugtop shell, althought Id have to paint it.........its still cheaper than a new one. The camper shell is about a 100 miles away or else Id just drive up and test fit. Has anyone ever tried this fitment ??? 2005 1500 gmc standard bed to a 2003 dodge short bed 2500. THANKS

 

Is it a high-end Snugtop like a SuperSport? If so, the cap will be "skirted" and come down on the outside of the bed. In that case, if it does by chance fit, it would look very poor. If it is not skirted, it *may* fit, but would look very odd on it.

I knew a guy with a 2nd gen canopy on a 3rd gen and it did not look good.
