Will a grill off an 06 and up truck fit on an 03-05?

Not unless you change the whole front end, the grill is differant strating in 06.

Yes it will fit. But be ready to change headlights, front fenders, and the top plastic cover on your bumper. If you are looking for a good price on all of the parts and you cant find them in a junkyard go to LMCTRUCK.com . They have good prices and they are good parts.

I got an aftermarket bumper that is too narrow on top for the grill. Aren't they almost the same other than the taper at the bottom? As long as the width and contour are they same I shouldnt need to replace the headlights.

I am in the middle of doing this swap on my 05. I have a Laramie bumber, fenders, grille and headlights, the hood is the same although i have a cowl hood on order, its pretty basic to do the swap, the headlight bulbs are different so you might need a harness for that. I can't wait to get it done!

I dont want to change anything but the grill to fit the top of the aftermarket bumper. The bumper is too narrow on top where the grill sits for the width of my stock grill. Im wanting to know if all will match up with an 06 and up grill on an 04. I know the stock bumper will now work with the new grill, but as long as it fits on the hood and isnt too wide then I dont care. Does anyone have HxW dimensions for an 06 and up grill?

The grill will fit on '03-05 models. Due to the contours in the bumper cover there will be triangle shaped openings between the late model grill and bumper cover on each corner of the grill.

I've seen it done and it doesn't look that bad.

Ok I appreciate it. Im not worried about those triangle openings because the aftermarket bumper is for an 06 and up. The bumper will cover those gaps.
