Hope you make out better than I did this summer. It was vacation time and we were headed to our campground 200 miles north of home with the 5th wheel in tow. Stopped overnight to rendezvous with some friends the following am. That morning, all ready to go; warm her up... got a puddle the size of a bath tub under the old girl. Ended up that the module that inserts into the top of the tank had a broken PLASTIC nipple at the fuel return to the tank. Ended up towing it to the dealer and the same guy towed my 5th wheel another 70 miles to the campground and we did our vacation. Came back and for $700 got my TV back.. PLASTIC connections.. pretty impressive. This is an 05 with 68k on it. The guy at the dealer stuck his hand in to locate the leak initially and immediately said : THIS tank has been out before.. I can only hope that that meant that there was something wrong with the arrangement of the lines that maybe was causing tension that would cause the break. I haven't heard any repeat stories like this here on the forum.
Hope you do better than I did and if you drop that tank be careful about what your lines are doing when you are done.
