Wich shop manual is correct for 04.5

My truck was built 4/04, and is concidered a 04.5. Would the 04 manual have all the correct info, or would I need the 05 manual.

I know some of the stuff, like the APPS for instance, is diferrant on the 05.

I'm so confussed.

That is a very good question. I have both a 2004 DR Service manual and a 2005 DR Service manual on PDF. The 2004 DR Service manual has specification for the 5.9L 305/250/235 HP versions (2004). The 2005 DR Service manual has specifications for the 5.9L 325 HP version (2004.5-2005).

So based on that if you want 325/600 specific manual you probably want the 2005. My guess is that there was a supplemental shop manual for the 2004.5 5.9L engine that was available to service departments, but I have not see anything like that available to purchase online.

BTW the 2004 DR Service Manual has 2627 pages and the 2005 DR Service Manual has 8410 pages.

I also have a 2004.5 built 3/04

manual means nothing as far as things like aps/ tps are concerned, on the 04/5 that one item could be in one of three locations...... side of "valve cover" , at the skinny peddle, or under drivers side battery.
