What's Up With My Headlights?

I turned on the headlights on my 05 Ram last night only to find that the left hand headlamp is not working on low beam. Didn't think that this would be a big deal, as I have the optional driving lights. Wrong-I found that my driving lights were clicking on(faintly) and off at about 1 second intervals. When I purchased the truck (new) I did not like the headlights and swapped them out for Piaas(sp?). Thought that I could have some sort of a fuse/relay problem, but my fuse box does not even identify headlamps. Anybody out there that has experienced similar problems that can help me out? This truck is only 7 months old & if the headlight is burned out, I am burned too. What are the best headlights out there?

Sounds like the grid heaters cycling - does it do it when warm? This comes up every year when the weather turns cold.
