Is there any better year to buy a dodge ram 3/4 cummins with auto or is the 2003 better yet<br>Alan

Alan - just my .02:<br><br>The new auto coming out mid-model year '03 should be a good one. The current ones in the '03 are very likely to have the same issues as before.<br><br>Having said that, the old auto is O.K. as long as it is not worked too hard. I had one in my '98 Dodge Cummins and was satisfied with it.<br><br>If I were to need a Cummins NOW with an auto I would go for an '02. They're selling way below invoice here (around $3,000 below) and it's a tempting deal. If you can wait for the new auto, you'll end up with a better truck but, of course, it's going to cost you.<br><br>Best to y'all<br>Bill
