Stock, got 53,000 + on them and going to do the same thing.
No brake, ujoint, ball joint, or anything else on the front end having a problem. Last truck went with bigger tires and rims only to replace the brakes all the time and ball joints along with a few ujoints.
Got this truck for a tow rig and going to keep it that way now, got a K5 Blazer for off road and big tires/ hunting and fishing.

I've got the Nitto 295 Terra Grapplers. They're workin' great.

i also got the terra grapplers when my stockers wore out with 23,000 miles on them. 285/70/17 e rated did not trust going to a lower side wall stiffness.

What kind of mileage are you guys getting out of them, and have you noticed any difference in fuel mileage between the stock 31s to 33s/35s?
Also whered you buy them?how much?

<-Looking to get some tires in the next month or two, cant decide between 33s/35s....

I loved bigger tires but I hate how they sound and act when they get old.
When towing it gets worse because you have a big side wall flexing all over the place. If I where to put bigger tires on my new one I would probably go with 20" wheels so the 35" tires don't have a huge sidewall flex. Plus mileage sucks with big tires.

BTW- bigger tires look WAAAAAAY better then stock, so it makes it a hard decision.

I'm debating on what I will do when my stockers wear out too.

It's hard to say if my mileage got better because of the tires. When I put them on, I was creeping up on 20k. This is when your mileage naturally gets better. So can't really say if it was one thing or the other. Anywho, I'm getting 18.5-19 mpg highway/hand calcd if I do 70mph consistantly. My mileage definitely didn't get worse. I got them from here. 700 stones shipped. I received 'em in about two days too.

Oh yeah, my around town mileage didn't go down either. It's hangin' tuff at around 16-17. Some say that w/35's yer around town mileage will tank on ya.
