What is this switch for?

Doesn't appear to turn anything on, any lights, from what I can tell...

1. Adjustable Foot Pedals
2. Aftermarket attempt at Brite-Box feature.
3. Anti-Theft Device Dummy
4. Missile Lock Switch
5. Door Lock-Override
6. Obama eject button
7. Passender Ejection Seat
8. Heated Seat Switch
The best solution would be to follow the wires to where ever they lead.

Thumbs up According to the link gcssr provided, page 132

DRIVER ADJUSTABLE PEDALS — IF EQUIPPED
The power adjustable accelerator and brake pedals allow
the driver to establish a comfortable position relative to
the steering wheel and pedals.
Adjustment
1. Position the driver seat so that you are at least 10
inches (254 mm) away from the airbag located in the
center of the steering wheel.
2. Fasten and adjust the seatbelts.
3. Move the adjustable pedal switch, located to the left of
the steering column near the parking brake release, in the
direction you desire to move the pedals.
4. The pedals cannot be adjusted when the vehicle is in
R (Reverse) or when the Speed Control is SET.
Adjustable Pedals Switch
This is assuming the vehicle is equipped with adjustable peddles and someone didn't just use that location for another purpose.

It appears to just be an on-off switch, not a 3-way return-to-center switch. I flipped it a couple times but didn't notice the pedals move.

Have you followed the wiring from the switch?

STOP... THAT'S THE KITTEN SWITCH!!!! everytime you flip that switch you kill a kitten... It's the switch to arm the nitrous system before all the sled pulls that truck use to do.

No it's just a aftermarket toggle switch the PVO put in to power something and he probably took the accessory off before he sold it but couldn't figure out a way to hide the hole so he just left the switch there.... I would try and follow that wire if there are any still left behind it. Mainly to see where they tapped into the factory system, I have seen some shotty/scarey wiring jobs and are close to shorting out that some people do...

Thats the wife shut off switch. When she starts telling you your lost, and you need to stop for directions just hit the switch and presto your lost in silence. Hope she wasnt on the phone with someone when you were flipping the switch trying to figure it out.

OK so we've determined it's not a factory switch. I guess I will just have to follow it. Yep I bought it used.

Horn kill switch? So the horn doesn't go off when you are backing up with the driver's door open?

Could you be so kind as to point me in the direction to where this can be purchased in bulk? I wouldn't want anything to happen to the only one I got, may need to carry 4, 5 , maybe 20 of these in the truck as backups.
