Same area as me.

I'm hoping for a little better than I was getting in my Hemi 1500 regular cab... But it looks like I won't be, I got 16-17 mostly highway driving, albeit spirited.

now, i only have 5000 miles and it takes 20K+ to break these engines in. I am going to do a intake, exhaust, programmer, and taller tires and i think i will be pushing 17-19mpg.

I got 14mpg with my chevy 5.3l.

and if you find the right place, diesel is cheaper than gas now.

Yeah, I'll be doing the same. But I might be going to 35's unless they have a dramatic affect on economy.

16.2 mpg average over the past 10K miles, half towing about 5000lbs at 75mph, the rest commuting. 52000 miles and counting, I swear this truck just keeps running better and better.

I myself see 18-21.8 on the highway and in town ranging from 12-15mpg. On the highway it is all 65mph w/ cruise control. My in town consists of about 5 miles 1 way to work.

I am getting 14/15 in town and 17/19 mixed. Expressway only at 62 will give me 20/21 but my right foot hates to drive that slow. This is without towing but I keep a 1000 lbs plus of "stuff" in the truck.

I did 844 miles at an average of 26mph and got 14.6mpg.

26mph was averaged by run time and mileage.

My 02 5.9 Magnum would have got 10mpg...in fact it always gets 10-10.5mpg.
