I'll agree that the cup holder in the mega cab leave lots to be desired. About the only thing I don't like about mine!

Mega cab

Looking good there Don.... Mine was scheduled to be here today, I worked a back to back and did not have a chance to call the dealer. My truck is going to be a twin to yours. Where did you find the tube steps???

I have had my mega cab a month today I love it over 3k miles I drove from Lake Havasu to my house over 500 miles on one tank of diesel I loved it and I was getting 17mpg. I do agree the cup holders suck and the person sitting there has to put there feet there.

Slick:
I ordered my nerf bars directly from N-Fab as there are no dealers near me.
They were around $680.00, that includes the bonded chrome powdercoat and shipping. I am really happy with them although they are quite expensive I think they are well made and worth it. Waiting to see pictures of your new rig.

Donald, I call the dealer this morning to find out where my truck was, and I was told it was setting in Toledo Ohio. Now the scheduled delivery date is the 6th. I will keep ya posted. Thanks for the info about your step bars. Looking good

Well all i know is that the cup holders in the 98.5 autos, seem to be built around the dodge brand coffee mugs

I just got back from picking up our 3500 Mega Laramie from Kelloggs ID. Spent 700 Miles in the truck getting it home. Varied my Speed from 70 to 85 all the way home and averaged 17mpg (not bad at all for those speeds).

The Wife and I absolutly LOVE the Truck. IT's smother than my 04 was, the Seats are way more comfortable, the truck is absolutly solid and nice.

No regrets getting rid of the 04 that gave me no trouble at and rolling the dice on the New Mega. Need to update my Sig now......

mega cab

Well picked her up yesterday. I only have 80 miles on it so far, rides better than my 04 Chevy 2500 crew, brakes are far better. Can anyone tell me how to turn off that darn seatbelt thing???

Donald what do ya think??

I think you have a beautiful rig there. Looks a lot like mine with the exception of the wheels and fog lights.
SOOOooooo, what plans do you have for it???
Enjoy, and keep us posted on how things are going, mileage, etc....

Mega

Don, I took it yesterday to trade the stock tires for 285 BFG's. well I'm glad that I did not switch them out. I would not have been able to pull into my garage, (my doors are only 7') thanks to quick thinking of my bud who has the tire shop...
On Tues it goes for a Rhino spray-in liner and a soft taueno cover. I have a set of OEM runningboards on the way from the runningboardwarehouse.

That is about it for now..
