the stinking seatbelts

well, one kinda works
took ~4 hours last nite, put some 05 seats in my 06.
seats just PLOP right in and bolt up. 15 minutes, they are in.

that's where the easy part ends. worked like a dog on the center console for rest of the time. it still AIN'T in this morning

get up this morning, wife pretty upset i did not get it done, guess she wanted me to lay on couch with her and watch TV.

so she's mad as heck, we get in truck,
her seatbelt won't click in.
mine takes some effort (okay, a LOT of force)

so she holds hers while we drive onto base. get to work, mine won't come undone, guess i wedged in too far.

had to slither out from under the seat.

took a TON of pics.

can tell you what to change on the center console to put a old style (lower center has cubby hole) console in your mega, will post pics of that. LOT of work there.

seat power plugs are different.

seat frame tabs need cut off. do that tonite.

had to take the buckles off the 06 seats, and put them in the dark 05 sleeves

Was your factory passanger seat power. If not was the plut there for the power seat. I haven't had time to look yet and want to put a power seat on the passanger side.

 

No.

the power for both comes from the driver side.

if you look, there is a pigtail coming from the driver side to passenger side, and that also powers the center console lighter.

 

Thank you. Like I said I'd like to add a power seat to the passanger side. The one thing I dont like about these power seats is that the whole seat moves. My 01 only the bottom moved. I also found factory leather for the front and rear for I believe 500.
