What double DIN radio brackets to keep cubby

I'm compiling my purchase list of things I need to install a new double DIN radio in place of my 2006 factory (non-nav) 6 disc radio with 7 speaker system. I'm aware that I'll need to open up the factory radio opening and NO I don't want to replace the front trim face plate with the much larger Nav unit trim. Bottom line is I want to keep the cubby and I'll live with whatever half moons are left after I do the trimming (or I'll fill them in later). My question is what brackets do I need to mount a double DIN unit into the framework of the dash and what other mods will I need to do?

From my homeworks I've found other items I'll need ...
-can bus adapter
-antenna plug adapter
-steering wheel controls adapter
-whatever mounting brackets
-e-brake bypass micro switch

Any help is appreciated.

I used a Metra kit to install a NAV system in my '06. The kit worked fairly well and had the half moons to fill in the spaces. I had to trim the face frame very slightly to fit the head unit and modify the mounts somewhat because the flip up screen hit the dash. Overall it didn't look bad but wasn't OEM appearance. I wound up pulling the unit and replacing the original because I just wasn't satisfied with the aftermarket NAV. The instructions with the Metra were pretty good but you will still need to sometimes fill in the blanks.
