What do I need for the block heater cord?

I put a heater cord on my truck a few weeks back. I bought it at the local truck stop and it didn't have any clips to attach it to the frame. For now I have it zip-tied to the frame, but I don't like it that way.

Does anyone have a picture of what the clips needed look like? I guess all the "Mopar" heater cords have the clips in the package.

None with mine, either... I got mine from cummins.

What's wrong with zip ties? Just trim them, and no one will ever see them... you have it routed under the truck, right?

Yea,its under the truck. I'm just funny that way. Nobody but me is going to see it,but it still bothers me.

It feels kinda Mickey Moused.

Check the stickied thread at the top of this forum regarding the block heater cord. One of the last posts show pics of what I did with mine. I used split loom tubing, anchors and cable clamps to attach it to the factory 1/4 holes on the frame.

I know how you feel when you say "mickey moused" but using zip ties is ok. I'm sure if you look around really hard you might find some factory installed zip ties. Heck the factory uses electical tape and other cheapo stuff under the hood so I wouldn't worry about it.
