Warn tranformer front setup 07/08?

I used to have this grill guard, brush guard, and winch mount on my 97 2500 and I really liked it. I was thinking about ordering up another one for my new 08 but I haven't seen any on a new truck and not sure if it still looks good/matches the lines of the truck. Anybody here installed one on their truck?

I have one on mine. I changed out the bumper. Check out my profile. I can't figure out how to post a picture.

for a few more $$$ you can get a full replacement winch bumper.

Yeah I know...but I really like the transformer setup because it sits on top of the bumper protecting it from 'things'. I once stopped a Ford tempo dead on my transformer (he ran a red light)....zero damage to my old truck...just needed a new transformer which the guy's insurance bought for me but his car was opened like a can opener from the front fender to the trunk lid. If it had been a bumper I'm convinced I would have needed repair to the truck itself

Well, I have already hit a fully inflated tire with rim which had falled off a car in front of me, on the freeway doing 70 with my bumper. I was nervous the whole way home. I got home and noticed a black mark on my bumper from the tire. I wiped it off with gasoline and it was good to go. no damage. The winch is also protected inside the bumper too. I hit a good sized buck one night with my bumper. At home, I just hosed it off. It was like new. I'd say the bumper has paid for itself already.

Good info I will add it back onto the list....do they still call it an "enforcer" bumper?

I would say those bumpers are alot strongerr than the warn transformer. Brother had one on his truck and the winch flexed it enough to make the crome pop off. Plus bumper is that thick all the way around the front end instead of just right in the center. Dont get me wrong nothing wrong with transformer and neat setup just think a bumper is alot stronger and more resistant to impact.

the silver mega cab in the fab fours ad, smoked a deer with no damage (to the truck, i mean!).

I didn't even feel the deer I hit. It flew about 50 yards of the side of the mountain. I just hosed the blood and guts off when I got home. If the deer is gonna die anyways, I might as well have no damage to my truck!

I was sure disappointed in a Warn Combo mount on my 1990 truck. The black fishish looked like crap after a few years. I had to get it bead blasted and painted. The Warn winches are great but I am still a little leary of their othe products.
