vehicle recalls

the steering upgrade recall is a topic most discussed. my question is this,...
do you guy's recommend removing any or all electronic proformance enhancers/downloads prior to bringing the vehicle in for the steering inspection?

thanks for the input

IF you still want to maintain your warranty, remove.

This is a true statement and being safer is probably smarter. However, they have no reason to plug into the diagnostic port for the steering recall. On mine, they took one look and said my truck had already been upgraded. All it was on my truck was seeing how the stabilizer was attached to the rod. They were more surprised that I had a new steering stabilizer on it and didn't even look farther. Personally I didn't worry about it but it may pay you to be safe and change the program back to stock.
