Let em replace it, it'll be even newer then!! As long as it solves the problem.

Another update - after PCM replaced

Hi guys,

After the PCM was replaced I was told on Friday that they are seeing problems with injector #3. Well, that seems to make sense to me. They said they were running some additive to see if it affected things but I have been running Power Service somewhat regularly anyway so I know that wont affect it. Hoping to just go ahead and get the injector replaced now, but they are on backorder. When they have to pull the injector out, the answer should be apparent I would guess. They showed a stock of -40 on injectors. What the @#$! is with these Bosch injectors going bad on a stock truck by 12000 miles. Do they fail immeditately or essentially last forever? Not a good sign that the inventory of them was used up....

I am having issues with my truck every winter for the past 3 yrs. Like you said, the truck misses/ surges / knocks intermittently. New injectors didn't cure the issue, and my filters are clean. No Check engine lights either. I am thinking it is the Engine Control Unit (ECU).
CARWASH - any updates on your issue?
