Is anyone having trouble with there stock u-connect? Mine was working perfect and I absolutely love the feature but a few days ago I noticed the phone would not automatically connect when in the truck, I tried to re-program it and it would not communicate with each other... after research I noticed a TSB found here http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2005/08-013-05.htm and was wondering if this was the problem. Could anyone tell me if they are having a similar problem or has had a similar problem? Does it sound like this TSB will fix it?

I haven't had any problems with my u-connect kit, what you may want to try is pairing another phone to the truck (if you know someone else with a bluetooth phone) just to make sure its not a phone issue. It can handle up to 5 phones, and they can be deleted later. I'm a tech for BMW, and 90% of our bluetooth issues are a fault of the phone itself, the MOPAR kit is made by Mercedes, and probably outsourced to the same place as BMW's. Good luck.

 

Thanks for the reply tweeter. The phone that I am using is my g/fs because mine doesn't have bluetooth, I am supposed to be getting a new phone in oct so i will try that out. i hope its her phone that is screwing up, i'll have her take it to verizon and get it exchanged. thanks again
