truck pulling to right??

OK guys, my truck's alignment is perfect...had it checked twice. Tire pressure is 75lbs in front cold, and 70lbs in rear cold. I've kept in mind the crown or slope of the road will pull the truck to the right, but this is bad.

Why in the world do I feel like I'm constantly fighting the wheel to stay on the road?

Only thing I can think of is if the right front brake system isn't working right causing too much friction. It does tend to dive to the right on heavy braking but that could be 7,000+ lbs on a slope trying to stop.

any thoughts?

thanks Jamie

read this

Hope that helps. If it does, give some feedback 'cause
there are many with the same problem.

Larryt thanks for the help... unfortunately I don't understand a lot of the techincal stuff about alignments. I just figured by common sense if the right wheel doesn't spin as freely as the left then it would pull or drift that way. Unfortunately it seems so many dealers and private garages will tell me things about my truck that just seem inaccurate. "it's within specs" or "within normal limits" or "I just have to live with it" My common sense tells me 46,000 should not pull to the right.

thanks jamie

First yo are running too much pressure in the front tires. Also you may want to swap the front tires to see if it pulls the other direction

SuperGewl...already been swapped. You'll have to explain to me why I have too much air pressure in the front tires, b/c I'm getting about a .5 mph improvement with my current set up.

does it do it on all roads most all roads are sloped to aid in removing water and these trucks have almost no toe in mine will pull to the right to but if i get it on the interstate its no a problem because the pitch of the road isn't as steep

If you haven't already, you need to do a search on 'alignment', As there is such a thing as being in spec and a different thing to be right. The factory spec is to wide.
What this is, is a situation where it is in spec but towards one way. Shift this tolerance the other way and it most likely will pull the other way.

What gets changed j-fox. the toe is maxed but still within specs. that's all I know. The manager at the garage tells me the toe is basically the only change that can be made.

thanks jamie.

driving on the interstate I get the same thing.

Lots of ISSUES with the PULLS right.Caster i believe is on the BORDER LINE of Specs and NON adjustable but thats STILL considered IN.I'm waiting on a ANSWER from D.C. on using the PREVIOUS years ADJUSTABLE ball joint. There is OLDER TSB'S on this. Some dealers are using this.

Jmac, It drives me nuts too. When I bought the truck, It was perfect. Started to pull to right so I took it to the dealer for a alignment ( nobody else had a machine big enough to fit it) Helped but not cured. They tried to tell me my air pressures were way off and that cured it and to take it for a ride. I knew better. I always keep 70 front 65 back. Except when towing, I checked it right in front of him before I left, and they had 55 in the left front and 70 on the right. Pi$$ed me off. Tring to correct it that way. Road crown is an escuse. A proper alignment is the only cure If there are not worn parts.
