Truck is having a hard time starting

Ok. So I'm half way around the world on deployment and my dad shoots me an email saying that my 05 is having a hard time starting. He has already changed the filter added a can of sea foam and checked the injector lines but says it's like it has air in the system can someone give some advice on how to trouble shoot this problem so I can email it to him I've given him all the advice I can think of not being able to look at or hear the truck

I suggest that he checks to see if there is fuel being delivered from the lift pump.
Does the truck have a stock lift pump? It may have failed or weakened.
He can bump the starter with the fuel line lossened at the filter canister. If he only gets a dribble, good chance the lift pump is dead or dying.
Search on here for more info. Hope this helps.

Is it cranking well? Does it start at all, or is it unusually long crank times? How many miles are on it, and does it have original injectors?

Sweet! I'm glad it wasn't something more expensive.

Also, thank you for your service.
