is this normal. my trucks auxillary stuff surges for lack of better words. if the heat or air is on high it blows hard then dies of nad then blows hard it also sorta dims the lights while it is "surging". there is no change in rpms and the idle is not rough just curious to what it is or if it is normal.

 

Yep, normal. Grid heaters until truck warms a bit and then it'll quit.
