I bought my last set from discounttire.com got a great deal. May also want to check local to see what they will do, and or make sure you have a shop that will mount tires not purchased from them.

The locals are thieves here in NYC, the last time I was looking for tires I went to 3 local shops and got prices. The prices ranged from $1,000-$1,250 for Firestone Destination M/T's plus tax. I shopped on-line and I got them for $775 with shipping. I took them down to a storefront fix-a-flat place and they mounted them for 100 bucks. I saved myself $125-375 plus tax.

Discount Tire / America's Tire
Tire Rack
tires.com

Usually. you can find a local place will price-match online prices.
So find the best price you can online, then shop local.

I've dealt with tire-easy.com, they have had some excellent prices/deals.

I ordered a set of BFGs for our Jeep from tirerack.com. They were on sale at a great price and delivered by UPS the next day. I was very happy with tirerack.

Anyone dealt with http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/ ?

I'm looking for BFG Commersial TA's for my trailer, they're a least 30 bugs ea cheaper than discount tire, tirerack etc, almost $100 cheaper than the local tire shops in Canada.
