Third Brake Light?

Third Brake Light?
Well, have had my truck for over 6 years now, 162k..
Went to get my sticker and was informed my 3rd brake light was out.
Pull light out of roof to determine bulb and there was not any bulb at all.
At least the 6th time I have got a inspection sticker and 1st time noticed..
Was this a common item? Anyone else with the 3rd Gen find the brake bulb missing? I had never even noticed that this brake light was not functioning until this years sticker.
