Is there really a 2005 Ram?

The official dodge website still loads up with 2004 info, and if you download a brochure you get an 04. Looks like Dodge is dragging their rear end introducing the 05 truck. Not that there is much different.

In fact, I thought Dodge was going to have a 6.1 Hemi option for this year. Makes me wonder if the official 05 truck will be another mid year 2005.5 addition.

Mine says `05 on the sticker and when I look for recalls on the Dodge site (enter the last 8 of your VIN) it pops up as an `05.

Its like they are toying with chevy, who probably worked their butts off improving the Dmax so they could say it beats the dodge and is 605 ftlbs. Seems like all Cummins needs to do is a little tweek for a performance improvement to 610.

I also noticed that the specs had some 05 updates. But interesting that there is no official brochure or anything. All the local dealers here now have 05s aka 2004.5s in stock. Sure makes me wonder.

seems like they are trying to get the kinks out of the cummins hemi in the o5 they want to drag as long as they can to make chevy list their specs first, that way DC can tweak at the last minute and come out on top.
