tank vent kit

I've seen several threads that reference a URL for buying the vent mod kit but none of the URL's are any good. Anyone have a good address for that info?

I haven't been able to find it either. I'm thinking that maybe it's not available anymore.

I have been eyeing Spooled-up vent kit for some time. Wouldn't mind quicker fillups but I just don't feel like dropping the fuel tank.

I don't feel like it either, but I'm tired of spending 20 minutes trying to top my tank off.

Is it worth the $30?? From what I gather it will let you get more fuel in the tank and at a much faster rate. I like to fill all the way up to the top of the neck so I can record accurate fuel mileage. Right now that takes me a very long time to do.

best $$ I ever spent. Pull up and crank it in, just like a gasser! The tank drop is easy too. Don't sweat it.

I agree 110%. Knowing what I know now, I'd paid $45 or $50 for the kit.
Disconnecting the fuel lines and connectors is harder than dropping the tank, but don't get discouraged. Dave is a stand-up guy.

One of the best mods that you can do IMO. $35 and about an hour of time was well worth the rewards at fill-up time. The instructions are great...it works as advertised. I agree that disconnecting the fuel lines and connectors is harder than dropping the tank. Like others have said...don't sweat it. It's easy and well worth it.

You guys that are having the filling problems, what year trucks do you have? My '05 truck was built in March or so, and I seem not to have any problems topping off. I'll let it fill till it clicks off the pump, and you can see the diesel in the neck, I usually give it a few more clicks to round off to the next dollar, and off I go. I never had to sit there for the long times I hear people saying, and keep clicking the nozzle. Its always pinned on full, and will even stay on the full pin for a day or two, so it seems i'm getting completely full tank. Maybe Dodge put a better design neck with a vent or something on my rig??

Well mine is an 05 and after I can not fill it any longer with the pump I can still dump in 6 gallons of fuel from a gerry can.

Bad dogg next time you fill up and can see the fuel in the filler shake the truck and wait about 30 seconds. I bet your truck burps real big and she will take another 5 gallons of fuel. That is the way 2004.5 is. Topping the tanks takes an extra 15 minutes . Quality engineering.
