The build date was supposed to be 03/04/03. When I called to check they said that it was still at D1 Status, and that it looks like there were parts on backorder... Says He doesnt know when it will be built.<br><br>Doesnt D1 Mean that the parts were available??? Does anyone know what parts might be holding things up.

DC gave me a ship date of 3/03,called later they said 3/04,called today they said still in D1 but hadn't been updated since 2/27.They said they were updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays so i guess i will try back tommorrow

 

Hmmm my tune's starting to sound like your guys'. Mine's been in D1 for 10 days with a ship date of March 6th but it keeps sitting at D1. I just hope the 0% financing incentives last long enough for my truck to arrive, I could really use that

BTW when you guys call, do you call the dealer or call D/C directly? My dealer said D/C doesn't want you calling but instead call the dealer so they can look it up on the computer and not bother D/C.

I always called DC on mine; I knew statuses and ship dates when the dealer didn't. I had the same problem with the D1 status as you guys, but it went on the line and was finished before their database even showed it in &quot;paint&quot;. When they showed it in paint it had actually been shipped (of course I didn't know that until a week later when it showed as 2nd rail carrier). Yours should come soon if it is being built in Saltillo Mexico. Some of the people at DC customer assistance only read what's there, but a few go try to pull an update and sometimes can get a more recent status. The best person I talked to was Chris at DC customer service.

 

I ordered mine Feb 11. The guy I talked to at DC on monday seemed to believe that there was a parts holdup on it but did not know what. Called DC today,they said mine shiped yesterday 3/4/03.She said they wouldn't have a railcar # until it was in US.Maybe some of you other guy's trucks are on the same train.Or at least the next one

 

You guys need to find a different dealer. The dealer who said the parts were on back order was an idiot. It takes a day or two for our computer to update itself. So if you had a build date and the build date comes and the dealers computer still show D1 that doesn't mean squat. Just sit tight and try not to get paranoid. Your trucks will come before you know it. I have been seeing 3-5 weeks from order to delivery on all of my trucks coming from Mexico. Even HO/48re's.

 

How about mine Luke...at 11 weeks right now. I've called and e-mailed every number I can find. No 'real' answeres..just a bunch of hoey out of everyone I've talked to. Everyone has been very nice and polite - they just don't seem to have any answeres.

 

Did your dealer tell you it was D1 or did DC tell you that? I have never had a truck on D1 more than 15 days before it was built.

 

Near as I can tell it has been D1 since jan 16. That info is from D/C. They have a real politician working for them.<br>

 

Just check today And got Status of:<br><br>KZT, even Got a rail car number, but it shows empty in laredo.

 

I checked again today and got the same as yesterday. 'd1' as of feb 20.<br><br>Wasn't there a sting that defined all of the codes ? I can't seem to find it.
