Subwoofer Installation

I am going to be putting in a single 10" subwoofer in my 2003 quad cab in the next few weeks and am looking for some pointers on where to run the wires both from the head unit and battery to amp. i have the wires hooked up to the battery and head unit now i just need to run them.

If you mount the amp under the driver seat you can easily pull up the carpet there and run the wire through. Its easy to pull the plastic step plate. You will also have solid metal for a good ground there.

Make sure you run the power turn on lead from the head unit and rca cables far from the power wire.

For the head unit, you can remove the driver side threashold door trim the the kick panel and run them there. For power, there is a rubber grommet in the firewall behind the brake pedal or you can follow the antenna cable to get in.
