Steering wheel

The dealer is replacing the wheel on the truck do to a cut on the leather wrap. I was wondering if they could replace it with one that had radio controls and I just pay the diffrence ine the wheel. What do ya think?

Thumbs down Sorry man

The wiring will not come with the wheel like it used to. I added this to three of my past trucks. Before, you could order the wheel and it had the switches and wiring in it. You just had to plug the pigtail into the clockspring and run two wires. Not any more. I did look into it with my '06 and the new two wire bus system is a lot more complicated than the older ('05 & earlier) one wire system. Believe me, if I give up having the single best option there is on our trucks, then it will be a tough modification. Not impossible, don't get me wrong, but not simple or inexpensive to do. Shucks!
