Steering column wires melting

The two main lead wires into the ing switch are running really hot and melting the terminals. I kept loosing my lights last night and had to take the shroud off the steering column and hold the wires in place to get home. Any one else see this or have this problem? them only thing I see not stock is where they installed my after market alarm. It is wired into the wires that are melting. I'm going to rewire the alarm and fix the wires. The mount that the ing switch mounts to is also cracked so when I tilt the wheel down the sitch turns slightly off and my accesories go off.

Mine did this as well. Everything in there was stock. It actually kept making my AC go in and out when I turned the wheel
