Spray in Liners (poll)
Getting ready for the spray in liner. I know 3 people with the Line-X and love it. One person with Rhino Liner and also loves it. Just want to see what others are saying about thier liner.

I had Line-x on my Dakota and the stuff is really tough and durable. So when I got the Ram, I decided to spend the extra $50 that Line-x costs over Rhino lining and get something that I know will last.
One of my buddies has an F150 that he had done with Rhino and it has peeled pretty bad. That was my only experience with the Rhino product. Hard to judge a product by one application and the installer may not have prepped the truck correctly either (to be fair to Rhino).

I voted Line-X
I personally have Rhino and it has worked pretty well; but the Line-X liners I have seen look a lot better after the age a bit. My Rhino seems to oxidize easily and if youre worried about apperance you have to scrub them with heavy detergent every now and then. The line-x doesn't seem as grippy so things might slide around a little more but If I had to do it again that is the way I would go. The other two are not offered in my are that I know of.

when i got my 2003, my dealer suggested either rhino or line-x. after checking both of them out, i went with the line-x. i thought it seemed more durable and liked the harder, textured surface. i got my 2006 from the same dealer (and salesman) a few months ago and they no longer recommend rhino - only line-x. my salesguy said customers were having problems with the rhino after a period of time. i didn't ask what problems because i already knew i was getting a line-x again.

There is a mud boggin truck back home in GA that has his entire truck painted in orange rhino liner, and it looks pretty good. I think he owned the business, and that truck was a tax write off, and that thing was bad-tail in the mud.

A friend of mine owns a grading business and they have around 25-30 pickups. They use a company called pro liner, not sure if it is just local or what but as far as I can tell it looks just like line x. If they have a uv blocker that is what I am gettin cause I can get it at a discount but I m gonna put some on the outside of my truck too so the black has gotta stay black.

My ideal bed liner would be a 50/50 mix of Rhino and Line-X. I like the fact that things do not slide around with the Rhino, but I believe the Line-X will last longer. For the record I have the Rhino Lining, and like it. But I do have to have it touched up as it is getting pretty beat up.

Id like a spray in, but the plastic one is fine so far...
Even with say a line X, id probably still keep the plastic one on top just because of hauling engine blocks, trannys, cherry picker, all things that gouge spray-ins, bad...

Anything is better than a plastic liner or not liner at all. It mostly depends on your application.... I like the thick rubbery type spray-ins because they seem to muffle the noise better than the thin 36 grit sand paper types.
