Son Of A B...Auto Dimming Rear View Quit Working

A couple days ago I noticed lights in my eyes from the rear view. I look even closer and noticed that the little green light isn't lit up. It won't turn on, I checked all the fuses, everything seems to be alright, but she don't work. I've never heard of these things going bad, or anyone ever having any problems with them. Is there anything I should check? What makes them do what they do? Replacements are kind of expensive, I may just have to learn to live with it...

check the rear top along the window to be sure the plug didn't jiggle loose, or get dirty contacts. just a shot in the dark but easy to check.

I have a question, yours works with the tinted rear window? Mine didn't do anything so I just unplugged it long ago maybe I need to have it checked out before my warranty runs out.

Is there anyway to test it? Where's the light sensor?

I'm an idiot, you were correct on this one, thanks mikmaze! I had my windshield replaced a few months back and I guess they didn't slide the plug in all the way. I reached back and pushed on it and she clicked into place and now works like a champ. I guess we just over think things every now and then, but all is well once again.

I believe it is behind the left hand pit. RH pit has the green LED on mine.
