Some lights don't stay on, could it be the K01 recall or my BDTD?

Some lights don't stay on, could it be the K01 recall or my BDTD?

I don't drive my 2006 2500 often. I pretty much only tow my toyhauler with it so I am not in it enough to really gauge when my problem started, but I first noticed that the interior lights don't stay on more then about 10 seconds when I open the truck doors, any of them. Then, last night while driving the trailer home in pitch black dark I pulled off at a freeway on-ramp shoulder to help a buddy and shut the truck down and left the parking lights on so I could be seen and not cause a hazard. After a few minutes I looked at my trailer and saw no lights. I ran back to the truck and restarted it and the lights stayed on.

The only thing that I have done recently is I had to do that **** K01 flash to get my truck registered in this stupid state. I pulled the BDTD tune prior to the reflash. I then uploaded my BDTD with the new software and reinstalled the programer.

I had no other negative issues with the truck after the flash and software upload on the BDTD. Is the lighting issue a fluke that might be caused by something else? Thanks for any help!

Seems like a common problem with the '06 and the interior lights cutting off too quick. Mine has done it before. Others suggested disconnecting the batteries for 15 minutes or so. I tried that.... and it worked. Only had the problem once.

There is a software update for this issue.
Not sure if your truck is under warranty or not, if so, you can have the update done... if not, just unhook the batteries for a little while and it should reset.

I had the K01 done and it fried the ECM. Dodge bought/installed another one so now I have a heart transplant. No issues after that, but I haven't reloaded Smarty into it. This ECM is the latest one and I'm anxious about trying Smarty on it. Truck's a toad without it.

Needless to say,I had the dealer smog it in case anything came up. Passed!

Things have been crazy for me. Sorry, I actually just read the responses to my post here. Thanks for the replies. I will disconnect the batteries and see if that helps.
